Light snow continues in Nanaimo – Mostly Dry Monday then Showers Tuesday/Thursday and cooler late week

It’s still snowing in Nanaimo.

I swear this winter may never end!

We are expected to stay below our normal 10ºC average this week and it will be cool in the mornings with temperatures regularly at or below 0ºC.

We should get a new bout of showers starting Tuesday afternoon.  Nothing serious, and it should only possibly fall as snow in the high elevations. It will clear out before Wednesday morning.

A stronger system comes in on Thursday morning again, all rain and it will last all day.  It will then cool again in the late week and we will be back to the chance of flurries and snow Friday and Saturday but no large accumulations.

The long range models still insist on below normal (9-10º) temperatures through mid-March. So we have a ways to go yet before it really feels like Spring!
