Good luck Friday the 13th. Rain today but a Valentine’s Day break and springlike week ahead.

Pink is over 70°F, 20°C

The rain will return later this morning and intensify through the day with the heaviest amounts around 4PM.

The good news is that the models have it moving away by around 8PM.

The front will move down the island and to Vancouver overnight.

Here comes the good news:

Sunny Valentine?
Sunny Valentine?

Notice the very bottom of the picture with the grey shaded areas?  After the rain clears, the clouds will too.

Here is a closeup for Saturday and Sunday.

It looks like fog is likely in the morning Saturday but should clear up around noon.  A sunny Saturday Valentines Day? Seems incredible to consider, but we can hope!

It will also stay warm with temperatures reaching 10°C or better.  In fact next week the models are approaching 20°C along parts of the BC and Washington coasts.

it’s February. My budding bushes and daffodils will like this.

Meanwhile. The other side of North America is bone cold and buried in snow.  What is going on?
