Difficult weekend forecast. Should be drier than Vancouver/Victoria

If you have got to here while looking for chrisalemany.ca I apologize, my WebHost had a problem yesterday and so I temporarily redirected visitors here. If you would like to see more about my platform, please scroll down to the youtube video. The full information website should be back by the end of the day today. Thanks.

That said, the weather stops for nothing! 🙂

Difficult forecast

Yesterday the models said the front coming up to the south would easily reach us and deliver quite a bit of rain. Today, they have backed off a little, keeping most of the active weather just to the south. These images are for 8-11AM and 11-2 Saturday

This is one of those things where we simply won’t know until it happens. We could have everything from a bone dry day to rain all morning and into the afternoon. I’m going to lean toward the wetter side of things, but I would be surprised to see more than 5mm of rain total.

No matter what, it will clear out of the area by night time.

Sunday showers
On Sunday we should get some light and scattered showers in the morning that should move off quickly in the early afternoon.

Watching ex-Anna Monday
It’s going to be fun watching former hurricane Anna approach over the weekend. The current forecast is for her to make “landfall” on Central Vancouver Island on Monday night. You can see her approach very clearly here.

However, with the speed she will be moving at I will be surprised if the models can accurately predict where she will be. So we will just have to watch her approach.

Here she is this morning, still lingering North of Hawaii.

Happy Friday!
