Cold start to the week – Rain by Wednesday Afternoon

Bundle up!

It’s below zero out there. (-1ºC at Alberniweather, -4ºC at the Airport).  The morning fog is already clearing away and we should see blue sky shortly.

Environment Canada is suggesting some light flurries tonight and Tuesday morning but they must be pretty light indeed. The UWash model does not have any precipitation in our area until the pattern shifts on Wednesday.

Rain should begin to sweep in from the West on Wednesday afternoon.  If temperatures stay around freezing, we have the possibility of a slushy or icy start to that event so be prepared for that.

We should then get into a pattern of rainstorms coming to visit every few days for the next few weeks but I’ll have more on that in the October Summary.

Have a great Monday!
