Once the fog burns off this morning, it should be another cool but glorious fall day on Thursday.

Get anything you need done outside done, because the rain is coming Friday and even more Saturday with wind.

By Sunday the Jetstream is going to be basically pointing straight at us.
That means the rains are coming!

We can expect around 50mm of rain to fall between Friday morning and Sunday morning.
The rain should start slowly and early on Friday around 4AM.

The real fun looks like it is coming on Saturday though when we will get a strong front packing both heavy rain and heavy winds.

As you can see below, our friends in coastal Oregon will be getting the worst of it with winds up to 60knots (110kph) but our waters, including Georgia, Johnstone and Juan de Fuca straits will get into the 45-50knot range. Expect ferry cancellations.
