Beautiful few days coming! Spring forecast isn’t so beautiful

As I type this the fog is already starting to dissipate. It has pulled back towards the Inlet and up towards Mt. Arrowsmith. Above me I see wisps of cloud through the remaining haze and splashs of yellow and orange as the sun creeps up the sky.

Today should be a pretty nice day. It will be variable, with some wind, some possibility for showers, and everything else that goes along with spring. But in the main, a nice day.

If you have already planted your garden outside, beware, it’s going to clear up tonight and could get down below freezing especially out in the Creeks. The good news though is that if the fog stays back, we should get well into the mid-teens. Take that Ontario! (they got to 18 in Toronto yesterday… back to 8 today).

Bill and I have been chatting about the recently recently released Accuweather Spring weather outlook.

We fare somewhat better than the rest of Canada thanks to our trusty Pacific rain systems… but the long range models are predicting an abnormally cold April for everywhere but the Canadian Arctic. I was really hoping my Hydro Bill would be able to recover somewhat this month…. but looks like La Nina hasn’t quite loosened her grip on our part of the world.

Enjoy the sun all!
