Adios Amigos – Holiday – Hurricane Watching

This will be my last regular post for a couple weeks.

We are leaving today on our way down to Mexico to visit family. It’s currently 29.8°C and 70% humidity near where we will be near Puerto Vallarta.

About the only weather updates I might post is if we get anything more interesting than a few thunderstorms from a passing hurricane.

There is currently a Tropical Depression well south of where we will be, and generally the storms turn out to sea long before they get to Vallarta, as you can see with the track forecast below. But we will definitely get ‘swept’ by the bands of a large enough hurricanes. Here’s hoping for some impressive lightning storms. 🙂

All that said, it doesn’t look like anyone is going to need any kind of real forecasts to know what the weather is going to be like up here for the next week. Sun, Sun, and more sun. I hope all of you can get out and enjoy it.
