A variable week – and history on Thursday

The weekend was chilly and pretty crazy at times. On Saturday and Sunday morning especially we had sun, rain, hail, wind. And if you were up on the Sutton Pass summit you would have see plenty of slushy snow on the road as well.

This week will be less extreme, but still all over the place.

Monday will see most clouds with a chance of rain and some sun.

Tuesday should be the best day with sunny skies and temperatures up to 15C or 16C.

Wednesday and Thursday will be back go clouds and possible showers.

Friday will be cloudy with a chance of some breaks of sun and the weekend looks sunny and cloudy.

So… Much like last week, be prepared for anything! 🙂

History

The Alberni District Historical Society has invited me to talk a little about the history of weather in the Alberni Valley. I will be making a presentation this Thursday evening at the Museum at 7PM and is followed by a coffee and tea time.
