Earlier tonight (6:10PM PDT), there was a strong earthquake under the Bering Sea near Dutch Harbour, Alaska measuring 7.3 magnitude.

A Tsunami Warning was initially issued for a portion of the coast of Alaska. It has since been lifted. There was no Tsunami Warning issued for BC or any other regions.

Seems to be a lot of earthquakes up in the Northern Hemisphere this year. I wonder if they’re all sort-of caused by the Great Quake in Sendai, Japan?
