11 degrees on Sunday! Hour forward Saturday night. Rain/snow possible Monday.

A short post today. There is a little skiff of snow on the road here in Parksville as I ride on the bus. Skies were a little clearer in Port Alberni and no hint of white stuff.

Skies should clear a little more across the Island today and we should end up with a very nice weekend with sunny skies and temperatures up to 11°C!

Daylight savings time starts on Sunday morning so go to bed early on Saturday and make sure you put your clocks forward. There was a story yestersay about Premier Horgan sending a letter to the governors of Washington, Oregon, and California to gauge interest in ending the bi-annual time disruptions. I hope they go for it!

On Monday we have a system coming through that will likely be rain but may include snow at higher elevations. We’ll get a better idea Sunday evening.

That’s it! Have a great warm weekend!
