SUCCESS!! New Sensors online and functioning!

Below you will see I’ve highlighted the new readings in purple. I’ll keep them purple like that for today and tomorrow (except when the warnings override them.).

The database is still updating with the new information (it has to start from scratch, over 270,000 records!). It’s currently working on records from October 2006 so it could be tomorrow before the graphs, and some archival data update.

Thank you for your patience.

Enjoy!

Chris

What’s Evapotranspiration? Click for a definition. Basically it’s a calculation of how much moisture is transferring from the Earth to the Atmosphere. Think of it as reverse-rain! 🙂

UPDATE: 11:45: The Database is only on records from January 2006, so the graphs and historical data likely won’t be updated until sometime late tonight or tomorrow morning. I will turn the graphs off until the database update is complete.

UPDATE: 21:33: The Database is almost there.. 70,000 records to go, so it should be done by about 1AM tonight. I’m going to turn the graphs back on before I go to bed so that when the database finishes the graphs will update immediately.

UPDATE: 8:21 Friday: Hi everyone. Slight hiccup! We got a new long distance plan with Telus and they “upgraded” our Internet Service. Which apparently means it stops working in the middle of the night until you phone them in the morning. GRR! So the database isn’t quite finished updating, but it should be done by 11:00 this morning.
