That is a doozy indeed!

I was noticing a couple days ago on a north-west hemisphere SST anomaly map there was a chunk of overly warm water off our shores…

I was watching satellite images over the past few days and was noticing the moisture really picking up from where that warm water was.

One wonders if that’s contributing to the strength of that low pressure centre up there.

Oh my.. thats a doozy swirling out there off the Queen Charolettes.. my computer hasn’t even rendered the image yet and I am already in awe how “pretty” it is..

WE even got it out here on the coast. Last report I had was the dandruff had blades of grass poking through. Might be an interesting drive to work tomorrow.

It’s snowing nicely at Burde Hill right now 5:30pm. The grass is white, like my knuckles all the way from Nanaimo, when I first saw the sleet at 4:00.

Eww it sure doesn’t look very nice out there. The temperature is dropping, the windchill is below freezing and it’s pouring! Yuk!

you mean I might actually get to use the quad and plow I bought just to keep my driveway clear this year??? yeesh – I went two years in a row with no driveway due to the snow, and now I’m looking forward to it!
