The long range and seasonal forecasts have been saying since September that we would be drier and warmer than normal, but both September and October were quite a bit wetter.  I think the forecasters were perhaps putting too much weight on a more typical El Nino, and it just hasn&#039;t panned out that way for some reason.

As for November, I&#039;m going to go out on a limb and predict that by month&#039;s end we will have surpassed 700mm of rain. Normal is 309 according to EC.</description>
