Yeah, its been wet this morning, I'm sitting at 38mm and still counting.

I see the forecast has been updated to show 2 days in a row with colder low temps. I'm thinking slush more than snow.

It is a little silly, it generates reports in NOAA format from all of the records by default. It's a little better now because it does it in sqlite format rather than a file, but it would still take far too long to initialize. It was clearly way to much for the little 300Mhz processor to handle.

On the mini it starts uploading data within about 90 seconds from a standstill.

It was raining like crazy on the west side of the hump this morning. Don't know if we'll get that 50mm. But at least everyone is getting it :)... walking (jogging) from the bus to my building was a wet today!

Is the software you used on the SLUG having to process all your records when it starts? Seems a little silly to me. I guess it depends on how it was engineered.

On a weather related note, I see the rain is starting to pickup. Perhaps we'll see the 40-50mm of rain they are calling for.

Almost done by the way... the system is updated and the software installed, just going through configurations.

I was, but it was getting extremely bogged down with the amount of records I have now. It would take almost an hour just to restart.

So I had to switch to using my Mac Mini.
