Yes, it was awesome and the power even stayed on. Today looks to be a good raking day and tomorrow a great torch day. Pretty sure it’s weatherproof. After the torch leaves I’m ready for another one!

Looks like a beautiful day for the torch! Don’t know if it’s going to hold up for tomorrow for us though! Is the torch rain proof?! :D

Yesterday was so awesome! I stood outside my shop for a while in the wee hours, just to watch the leaves flitter and dance! By the afternoon, the leaves were flying sideways past my front windows! The rain, at times, was torrential out McCoy Lk/Sproat area! Great day!!! I hope we have a few more of those – but AFTER the torch goes through!!! …although, my brother will be carrying it at one point …and it would be fun to watch him suffer a bit….hehehe!

Yup, it was nasty coming into town today. Along the new 4-lanes at Marion Creek the rain was jumping almost a foot off the pavement, it looked to be an inch of standing water on the road, and the wipers could NOT keep up!! The mighty Kennedy is getting close to the road in a few spots now!! Hope it doesn’t get any higher or the torch won’t make it out here on Sunday.
