Ya just can’t think of anything new and interesting to post on a blog….

This is one of those times. I’m doing a little dance as I type this… maybe that’s interesting enough? :D I can tell ya it ain’t pretty!

The wind last night was fun… there were lightning strikes detected up Island towards Woss and Sayward. None here unfortunately. More sun next weekend!

The drive to Ucluelet this morning was through a very heavy downpour. In Ucluelet I heard reports of a very loud thunderstorm with power flickering on and off. One guy told me during one of these his radio turned on!?

Port Alberni is surrounded by supernatural beauty, mountains, trees, wildlife…but as a former resident of Alberta… what I wouldn’t give to see a lightning show and hear some rolling thunder :)

I was so upset to not get the thunder and lightning! I was in Edmonton a couple weeks ago and left the day it hit there, too! I always seem to just miss them!!!

haha :) That’s for sure. We treasure our thunderstorms around here. We *might* get 2 a year, usually in the late spring or early fall

We’re camping at Coombs and I guess Sunday night the North Island got a real doozy of a storm. Knocked out power in many places. We saw a few flashes here and there, but didn’t hear any thunder. Oh well
