Freezing Rain warning my ass!
How about extreme amount of snowfall warning… I’ve almost got a good 4 or 5 inches of fresh on top of the 7 or 8 I had here…
Time to purchase a proper snow measuring device.. this going outside thing to wipe off teh BBQ sucks.

Snowfall warnings are only issued for Inland VI if there are accumulations greater than 15cm expected (6″). So we’re just under the bar.. though I think it merited a warning as well.

out tofino way, yesterday’s called-for rain fell mostly as wet snow. Didn’t have to worry about driving in it, so i was free to enjoy the beauty of it (despite having to work outside in it.)
Driving Highway 4 to work on Dec 24 was the fulfilment of my worst nightmare. I’m still amazed that I made it in one piece. My fingers are crossed that the roads are clear on the 31st when i head home to Port again…

How much snow do you have from yesterday’s storm?
December 27th, 2008 at 1:17 pm
On The West Coast we didn’t get all that much. We had maybe 2cm fall in the afternoon Friday, but it was washed away in the subsequent rainfall.
I got out and started removing our Xmas display this morning. Got most of it down, but still have a few things on the house to deal with – will do that another day,
