OK, I think at this point it’s just wishful thinking… but I’m hoping for some snow for Thursday morning!
It should clear up nicely today (Tuesday) and be nice on Wednesday but coool.
I’m hoping that means white stuff Thursday morning or Wednesday night, but we won’t know until we get there!
Oh, and I added a new value down in the table below, above the Day High Wind value you’ll find “Current Solar Potential”.
This is based on the current solar radiation being measured at the station… it gives an estimate of how many Watts an array of solar panels would be receiving and converting into power. It’s based on if I had 3 Sharp 80W solar panels from Canadian Tire… which add up to about 1.9 square meters of surface area and have an effeciency of 12%.

Chris,
I notice a decline in the snow pool entries – a good many dates have already come and gone – all of the Nov dates — I picked Dec 3 – Nick has Dec 5 (seems a good chance!! ) — when our dates go by can we pick another date ?? AND have to figured out the prize yet ??

I think it would be unfair to the people who picked a later date if people whos date has passed could pick again.
If there is no snow by the end of January then I’ll make another snow pool to see if we get any between then and May. :)

O.K.! This has to be theeee most boring, November (weatherwise) Chris………when am I gonna get a storm?
December 4th, 2008 at 7:56 pm
Tell me about it! In fact I think aside from the one dump of snow they had a couple weeks ago in Ontario, this November might be remembered as the month that nothing happened!
It has been exceptionally quiet.
There just doesn’t seem to be much action out there. I don’t know if it’s because El Nino has calmed down and we’re in a moderate period between La Nina and El Nino, or what.
Oh well. Shouldn’t complain really I guess. But for us weather nuts, it’s not great. We’ll just have to take up politics instead. :)

Well Chris, that wasn’t the answer I was looking for!……..Politics, are a little on the stormy side though…..Rather watch the weather.

Its not looking good for snowfall on my birthday, but here still is 14 hours as I type this out left in this day.
Murphys law will dictate that something will happen while I am in Vancouver, and I can’t get home. Ahahhaha.
