Wonderful Snow!!!

We got a bit of cold air in the past few hours and look at that! Port Alberni is covered by about 10cm of snow this morning!!

Beautiful morning!!

It’s still snowing hard. Hopefully it’ll stay cool enough while this front passes over us so it doesn’t turn to rain. Then.. just maybe.. it’ll still be on the ground for Christmas! :D

Update: Make that Wonderful SLUSH. It’s doing what it only does on the West Coast… it’s slushing! Drive safely if you’re out and about. Especially that Wally-world parking lot!

Well we might be lucky and still have it for Christmas! At least up near the top of Anderson Ave. Its still all over th place here.
Tonight is kinda feeling much like last night, regardless of what our weather posting is it seems to always become colder than predicted.
Those frontal systems are amazing, I took a screen shot earlier where all three systems were all in the same shot. It looked really neat.
Looks like we have something heavy coming in behind the third system as well. Winter is great :D

Ya we have quite the lineup on the way! I agree too with you… good chance that we get a breath of cold air between todays storm and Tuesday.

I’m not making any promises to my son yet, but it looks like the freezing level might drop enough on Monday night to make Tuesday’s precipitation start out as snow. At least I don’t have to drive to Tofino on Christmas, like I did yesterday!
