A Little more Summer, before Winter hits

Today should be another beautiful day!

Enjoy it, because by the looks of it Friday and Saturday we should have a good’ol Sou’wester blow through. The weather charts yesterday indicated Storm to Hurricane force winds offshore, so we could get some gusty winds here as well.

I’m pleased to announce a new feature on the website as well.

If you go Here (which is under Weather Archive–> Station Almanacs –> Monthly Tabular Data). You can select a date range and view the hourly reports from that time range.

Please be gentle with it, I don’t have all the bugs quite worked out yet, so if you put in a range that spans more than about 3 months you will likely not get any response as it’s too big. But it’s nice way to see what our past weather has been like. The “Highs and Lows” displayed are over the past 60mins before the displayed hour.

  1. i think it would very interesting to live in an area where winter is really like winter for a long period of time. Living in san diego you dont really get that weather change year round its pretty easy to deal with considering people get angry when it rains for a few days.
